Participation in the "My City, My Lab" competition hosted by JK Lakshmipat University implies acceptance of the following terms and conditions. These are designed to ensure fairness, clarity, and integrity throughout the competition:

Registration and Consent

  • Agreement to Terms: By registering for the competition, participants agree to adhere to the competition's terms and conditions.
  • Consent for Use of Information: Participants consent to JK Lakshmipat University using their names, photographs, and project details for promotional purposes in connection with the competition.

Eligibility

  • Participants must be enrolled in class 10, 11, or 12 at a recognized high school in India at the time of registration.
  • Participants in one team must be from the same school; participants from different schools cannot form a team.
  • Only school teams are eligible to participate. Each school may register multiple teams, but each team must present a unique idea.
  • All participants must comply with the eligibility criteria specified in the competition details.

Intellectual Property

  • All submissions must be the original work of the participants.
  • JK Lakshmipat University reserves the right to use any materials submitted for promotional purposes, including publications, media, and online platforms.
  • Participants retain ownership of their ideas; however, by submitting an entry, they grant JKLU a royalty-free, perpetual, and non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, publish, or display their submissions in connection with the competition.

Submission Guidelines

  • All entries must be submitted by the stated deadlines. Late submissions will not be considered.
  • Submissions must adhere to the format and content guidelines provided during registration.

Conduct

  • Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that reflects positively on themselves and JK Lakshmipat University. This includes adherence to all competition rules and respectful interaction with judges, mentors, and other competitors.

Confidentiality

  • Personal information collected during registration will be used solely for administering the competition and will not be disclosed to third parties without consent, except as necessary for the conduct of the competition and as permitted by law.

Disqualification

  • JK Lakshmipat University reserves the right to disqualify any participant or team that breaches these terms, engages in misconduct, or is found to have misrepresented themselves or their work.

Modifications to Competition Rules

  • JK Lakshmipat University reserves the right to modify the competition rules, terms, and conditions without prior notice. Any changes will be communicated through the competition microsite.

Decision Finality

  • Decisions made by the competition judges and organizers regarding the winners and any aspect of the competition are final and binding.

Cancellation and Amendments

  • The university reserves the right to cancel, extend, or amend the competition timeline or format if unforeseen circumstances arise.
